Learning with purpose.
Whether you are homeschooling your little one during the precious preschool years or you are a preschool teacher, I have everything you need to raise lovers of learning and cherish every moment along the way.
- Andrea
“Homeschooling is a lifestyle. It is a celebration of intention, togetherness, and discovery. The opportunity to witness and guide your child as they learn about themselves and the world around them is an unparalleled gift that you will carry with you forever.
And so will they.”
How it began
As infancy abruptly transitioned to toddlerhood, the school years rounded the corner and I began constructing an at-home preschool curriculum. Over a period of two years, I used this framework daily and witnessed my little learners flourish and blossom.
My model bloomed into learning for preschoolers, reimagined. Connecting children to their most powerful self while breathing inspiration, whimsical wonderment, and adventure into every moment.
My curriculum promotes superior academic goals while celebrating togetherness, encouraging exploration, and guiding the natural curiosities of little humans. After all, it is one thing to help kids understand this big world, and it is another thing to help them understand their immense, unique value in it.
A thoughtful and connected preschool curriculum.
Who this is for:
If you want to guide your little one’s learning with an enriching curriculum that connects them to their inner self and the world around them, this is for you.
For those who want a curriculum that focuses on achieving academic learning objectives while also shaping the whole child - mind, soul, and body. Think harmony between self, nature, and academics.
Parents and teachers, if you want a complete curriculum that involves minimal supplies, important core values, and an easy-to-follow framework, this is for you and your family.
*Made for homeschoolers, parents looking for weekly learning activities, and preschool programs.
My philosophies and core values:
Resiliency is an active process. Cultivating an empowered sense of self with the tools of positive internal dialogue and a growth mindset begins as a child. These tools makeup the foundation from which resiliency and the ability to thrive sprouts.
Children possess an innate curiosity. Meaningful learning happens when children are fully engaged and involved with the activity at hand.
Nature is earth’s best classroom. There, children learn about themselves and the world around them.
Creativity is intelligence having fun. Play is essential to a child’s growth and development.

FAQs
Is Emerge right for me and my littles?
What a great question! I created an Emerge Curriculum Guide to dive deep and help you answer this very question, so I would highly encourage you to review that and, of course, reach out with any questions! But, in a nutshell…
If, like me, you are a tree hugging, animal kissing, flower sniffing, planet lover who sees the beauty in everything and believes resilience is like roots - silent and deep - this curriculum may be the perfect fit for you!
How is your curriculum delivered?
You can purchase the curriculum online in one simple click. A comprehensive supply list, weekly lessons, instructions, and worksheets will be sent to you digitally and you will have access to them instantly.
What is your program founded upon?
As a curriculum developer and homeschooler myself, I know the importance of intention when developing learning experiences. Intention is what makes the difference between education and learning.
With inspiration from Positive Psychology, nature-based learning, and yoga, I created a preschool curriculum reimagined for the whole child.
The EBD curriculum is thoughtfully designed to achieve kindergarten-readiness learning objectives while connecting children to themselves and nature. My model is built to cultivate learning, resiliency, and joy through meaningful learning and exploration.
The philosophy behind my model is simple. At this age, children learn all the time. Their classroom does not have four walls. Every encounter and experience shapes them. Constructing a thoughtful curriculum means guiding children in understanding the world around them, as well as empowering them to be an important, valued part of it.
My curriculum framework is built with kindergarten-readiness learning objectives in mind, which means that the lessons and activities align with progressing children towards kindergarten preparedness. This includes writing and reading skills, motor skills, math, science snd social studies concepts, art and music exploration, sensory discovery, and social skills.
Infused into my curriculum are three core values:
Resiliency - Monthly lessons include tools and activities that cultivate resiliency.
Sense of self - Curriculum emphasizes resiliency and a strong sense of self by learning positive internal dialogue and mindfulness skills at a young age as well as integrating literary works that instill these values.
Earth - Exploring nature is infused into monthly lessons wherever possible, including concepts such as recycling and regenerative agriculture. As a tool that gets children to experience the wider world and themselves, nature boasts both childhood development and conservation values, which is a remarkable gift for your little one. Cultivating a love and respect for nature draws children in as innate learners and is a therapeutic, empowering fabric to weave into children’s lives.
Can I really do this?
Unfortunately, the idea of homeschooling can be overwhelming enough to prevent parents from attempting it. Putting all the pieces together, sequencing weekly lessons, and orchestrating the right supplies leaves so many wondering, “where do I even start?”. And, I completely understand.
This is how I felt until I deconstructed the behemoth that is homeschooling into an enjoyable curriculum that is made up of bite-sized lessons.
Each lesson is comprised of themed together-time, academic exercises, and hands-on activities, with easy-to-follow instructions and context. You will also receive a breakdown of books and supplies needed for the month, so you can get them all lined-up well before you begin. Learning is best when it is thoughtful and simple, which is precisely what you will find with my program.
Here’s the other great news: the curriculum fits right into the rhythm of your family or school.
School at this age is less about schedule and more about rhythm. Don’t have time to complete the entire day? Have appointments or playdates? No problem. Pick up where you left off later that day or the next. Peel back the pressure and lead with confidence knowing that your child will learn and grow immensely throughout this curricular experience.
As a preschool teacher, can I use this?
Yes, yes, and yes! The great part about my curriculum is that it can be used by parents and teachers alike! It is not crafted for homeschoolers only. If you want to achieve stellar learning goals while celebrating values of play, nature, and sense of self, my lessons will support you in nurturing your tiny humans!
